Buckeyes winning BIG in the Hoosier state!!!
Porter County, Indiana - The American Buckeye Club would like to congratulate Sydney Clark for winning BIG at the Porter County Fair this past week! Her Buckeye bantam hen won Champion and Reserve Grand Champion in the bantam class. While her large fowl Buckeyes won Reserve Champion American pullet, Champion American cockerel and Grand Champion cockerel.
Many county fairs are taking place ALL over the Midwest and the 4H members who have worked hard all winter, spring and summer are finally getting to show their livestock and poultry. The ABC supports 4H and encourages others to do the same, it is GOOD for the Buckeye breed and GOOD for the children who get involved. Today's 4H members are tomorrows Buckeye keepers and breeders so lets show our support. Visit your county fairs and cheer on some 4H folks!!!
